In April 2004, we flew a microlight from Germany through France, to South Spain and back. Altogether, we were 28 hours in the air - traveling more than 4300km. Our plane took us over hills and wide green fields, over lakes and rivers and along the Mediterranean Coast. We flew over big cities and vast mountain ranges to small airstrips and international airports. For this trip, our little aircraft needed 456 Liters of fuel, just 16.3 Liters/h or 10.6 Liters/100km of flight.
